A career in massage therapy has allowed me to combine my interest of health and wellness into a profession I find deeply fulfilling. I am a graduate of the Ontario College of Health and
Technology where we had extensive training on anatomy, physiology, assessment skills and treatment techniques, ranging from trigger point therapy and myofascial release techniques to hydrotherapy.
As an RMT with a focus on injury rehabilitation and pain management, I am committed to helping my patients regain their vitality and wellness. Whether you are dealing with an acute injury, chronic pain or post-surgical recovery, I am well equipped with the knowledge and experience needed to assist you on your path to recovery. Outside of the clinic I enjoy hiking and stargazing, especially on a cool crisp night.
I have also been a practitioner of Tai Chi and Qigong for the past 5 years. These practices have not only benefitted me in life, but also helps inform my approach to patient care in the form of movement therapy. I am always happy to teach patients some of these qigong sets as part of their remedial exercise programs, because simply put, motion is lotion!
